At the same time, if you book into The Haven you get something rather special: your own “ship within a ship”. From the moment you embark you enjoy priority: first on and off the ship and at ports.
Your “home base” becomes the Haven enclave — peaceful, private and luxurious. But you’re by no means cut off: you still have full access to everything else on Breakaway, so you get the best of both worlds: the vibrancy and variety of the main ship, plus the calm and exclusivity of Haven.
Because you’re on Breakaway, you can enjoy all the usual on‑board activities — shows, entertainment, bars, lounges, decks, and so forth. Many of those ship‑wide amenities remain open to all guests, so even if you stay in Haven you can wander the ship, enjoy the theatre, restaurants or nightlife if you like.
That said, as a Haven guest you’ll likely find yourself gravitating to the private Haven facilities: the private pool (and courtyard), sundeck, hot tubs and dedicated relaxation area. The sun deck and courtyard offer the perfect retreat when you want tranquillity — away from crowds and bustle. The combination of access to the full ship plus the private Haven enclave gives you flexibility: you can be as sociable or as laid‑back as you choose.
On Norwegian Breakaway you have access to the full complement of the ship’s dining options — main dining rooms, specialty restaurants, buffets or casual eats. That remains part of your cruise even if you stay in The Haven.
But with The Haven, dining becomes something more refined and relaxed. There’s a dedicated Haven Restaurant and Lounge (and bar), where you and fellow Haven guests can enjoy meals in a quiet, elegant atmosphere with white‑tablecloth service. You can also choose to have meals delivered to your suite via butler service if you prefer privacy. Breakfast, lunch and dinner are offered in the Haven Restaurant, and the quality and presentation tend to be more upscale than standard buffet or casual dining. So with Haven you get both the full variety of dining on Breakaway and a more exclusive gourmet-style option.
If you book into The Haven on Breakaway you have access to a range of luxurious cabins, suites or villas — each designed for comfort, space and elegance.
For example, there are Owner’s Suites with large balconies: they feature a separate living and dining area plus a bedroom and bathroom, with sweeping views through floor‑to‑ceiling windows. For larger parties or families, there are 2‑Bedroom Family Villas with balcony — offering more space, separate bedrooms, living areas and access to Haven’s private amenities. Penthouse‑style suites (forward or aft‑facing) and Courtyard Penthouses also exist, giving you options depending on your preferences: sea‑views, balcony orientation, and size.
Inside the cabins you’ll find premium touches: pillow‑top mattresses, fine bed linens, luxury bathroom products, plush bathrobes and slippers. Many suites offer private balconies and expansive windows so you can enjoy sea views in comfort.
