At the same time, The Haven turns part of the ship into a “ship‑within‑a‑ship” — a private retreat reserved for suite guests. Every suite guest in The Haven has keycard access to exclusive areas, private elevators, and upscale amenities. This combination means you enjoy the best of both worlds: the energy, activities and range of the full ship — plus a peaceful, luxurious hideaway when you need it.
If you decide to explore beyond The Haven (though staying inside also has plenty), Viva offers plenty to do. You could take a stroll or run along Ocean Boulevard, enjoy the sea breeze and horizon views, or walk across the glass‑bottomed Oceanwalk for a little thrill — it really feels like you’re walking on water. The ship also offers pools, hot tubs, a sprawling sun deck, and for sports and wellness fans there’s the full fitness centre and spa complex onboard. For entertainment, dining and socialising you can head to one of the many restaurants, lounges, or even to specialty venues like steakhouses or themed dining spots — perfect for variety and mood changes throughout the cruise.
If you prefer a more relaxed atmosphere, returning to The Haven at the end of the day offers tranquillity, privacy and refined comfort — a restful contrast to the bustle elsewhere.
Dining on Norwegian Viva is very versatile, and you’ll have a broad spectrum of options — though as a guest in The Haven, you enjoy some special privileges. On the general side of the ship you’ll find the main dining rooms such as Hudson's, offering 270‑degree views over the stern and a menu of classic and contemporary dishes. There’s also The Commodore Room for a more traditional dining atmosphere. For casual meals or quick bites, the ship’s buffet‑style venue Indulge Food Hall — and other more relaxed eateries — give lots of flexibility.
But for you and fellow Haven guests, dining becomes a more private, refined experience. The Haven has its own dedicated dining room, The Haven Restaurant, serving breakfast, lunch and dinner in a calm setting reserved just for the enclave. You can dine indoors or al fresco in the courtyard, enjoying elevated dishes and premium service. Beyond meals, there’s a private Lounge and Bar where you can sip cocktails, relax with drinks and enjoy a more intimate atmosphere than the main‑ship bars.
Staying in The Haven means you get some of the most spacious and luxurious accommodation on the ship. Suites come in a broad range of sizes and layouts. At the top end is the The Haven Premier Owner's Suite with Large Balcony — this incredible space spans around 2,100 sq ft, with a large aft‑facing balcony and superb sea views, ideal for up to 8 guests.
But there are many other suite types depending on how many people you are travelling with or how much space you want. For example, there’s the The Haven Deluxe Owner's Suite with Large Balcony (about 1,600–1,750 sq ft for up to 6 guests), as well as smaller but still luxurious penthouses and aft‑facing suites — all fitted with high‑end furnishings, large balconies, and full access to Haven amenities.
